end date for Windows XP support

Okay, you got me worried so I contacted a Microsoft agent directly and asked them about the rumors of XP support ending in 2010. This not true! You can pay to get an extended license thing that will allow you all kinds of updates. But, for those of us that mainly are interested in the critical and security updates; you can continue to go to the Microsoft update page and get updates for free or turn on automatic update which will download and install critical ones when they become available.
The end date for support of Windows XP is:
4/8/2014.
So we have a couple more years yet.
